During migration

That was inevitable. With the increasing use I make of the Leica M11, my MacBook Pro 15 inch started to choke on common tasks in the postproduction pipeline such as exporting JPEGs from Lightroom. Even crashed a few times. Bigger file sizes lead to planned obsolescence lead to computer purchase.

One more watch than usual

Full disclosure: I’m a boomer. Last years, but still. So, I’m wearing a wristwatch instead of reading the time from my smartphone as more recent generations do. Being a fanboy, it has been an Apple Watch lately.

But I’ve been tempted:

The Night Rider

The Riddle of the Spiegelsucher

It’s convoluted

This weekend, I’m on the first two-day motorcycle tour of the season. I’ve been invited by some nuns to a church service, a round trip and finally a biker blessing. This will all be performed today, May first 2022, in and around Trier at the Mosel river, by the Schönstatt sisterhood and the Trier bishop, I guess. I’ve been blessed in 2019 before, so I need a fill-up.
